Dr. Jay Gerber is the founder and past educational director of the Center for Occlusal Studies in Parkersburg, WV. He has presented at nearly 1000 presentations world-wide since 1984 including to distinguished Universities, various national and international organizations including the AGD, Yankee Dental Congress, State and National Dental Associations. He has presented, for SWS in San Diego and the Schein Institute in Carlsbad for many years. He is also past Director of Neuromuscular Orthodontics at LVI Global in Las Vegas, NV.

Dr. Gerber has lectured on the subjects of functional jaw orthopedics, orthodontic finishing of TMD phase 2, head, neck and TMJ pain diagnosis and treatment, airway obstruction, dental imaging/radiology, physical modalities including TENS, neuromuscular functional occlusion and bio-electrical instrumentation using Myotronics instrumentation. He has been a leader in NM appliance designs, appliance use during chewing, construction bites using EMG studies including the first to advocate real time studies for bite registrations and applications of NM appliances for the correction of UAO.

A Life Member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Jay holds Fellowships in the International Association for Orthodontics, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, he is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Integrative Pain Management. Dr. Gerber is a senior instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics & the American Orthodontic Society. He recently retired after 37 years on the medical/dental staff at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.
