Chris Baker, DMD
Today, after more than 30 years in dentistry, teaching orthodontics at three U.S. dental schools, and practicing orthodontics around the world, Dr. Chris has a complete orthodontic curriculum online – each course providing ADA CERP credit upon completion.
Dr. Chris’s approach to pediatric dentistry and orthodontics is based in prevention, with emphasis on orthodontic treatment procedures for the preschool and school-age child to improve the growth of the entire face, as well as outstanding comprehensive orthodontic care to provide the most beautiful face and smile as well as the most functional occlusion. Her experience in practice management and her extensive knowledge of child behavior, parenting, and child management are elements integrated in her practice and teaching.
Dr. Chris is a popular blogger on DentalTown and has more than 200 YouTube videos online addressing dental and orthodontic issues. She is the author of five books and is the creator of www.drchrisbaker.com .
As a past or current faculty member at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, the University of Louisville Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, and at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, Dr. Chris calls her unique approach to teaching, “Love and Orthodontics.” Now based in Texas, Dr. Chris has taught and practiced dentistry and orthodontics around the world, from Connecticut to Dubai to Abu Dhabi, to Athens, to Kentucky.
